Hi Dave. Thanks for the comment. I'd say the muscle cars are popular here, yes. In fact there's even a monthly magazine devoted to them called Classic American and there's always plenty of American car meets around the country on any given weekend too.
Keep an eye out for the MOPAR article that will be published on here at the end of July.

Greetings from across the pond... Canada, eh? I was going to ask you about the drag racing culture in jolly old England. From what I know about the UK built cars, I didn't think there were too many that would be in the "quarter mile" class... although I know the road racing circuit is big there. I've also noticed that your dragstrip pictures are of our cars. Are the American muscle cars that popular over there?

Cheers

Thanks for your comment.
It's great that you view life that way and I look forward to seeing the photographs of your '66 Ford truck
on Flickr!

It's nice to see people who can deversify their activities and try new things.
York Raceway looks like a place where people can do just that.
It isn't about how fast you can go because true racers will never be satisfied with there last time. It's about forgetting about your cares and acting like your young again.
I'm nearly 60 and building a 66 Ford truck on an Explorer frame, with a 508 Cadillac engine. Why? Cause I only get to live life once.
Thanks for your posts on Auto Almanac.
