It was done right, If in fact the Porsche won …Thats Racing, McQueen would have been looked at as a Actor at that point, It was a great race and to finish 2nd at Sebring in a underpowered car was in itself a win, Great Racer, Good Actor RIP

This is very intersting. I was actually at that race, a 16 year old kid at the time. After the 917’s chances fizzled out (I have been a Porsche fan for a long time), I began rooting for McQueen and the 908. It would be very intersting if there is any way to detemine if McQueen/Revson actually did win that race. At least give credit where it is due, even if they do not officially change the results. McQueen was obviously a very cool dude about it.
