Hello,i have an ongoing issue with my GT Speed, since jan this year i complained to my Bentley dealer about a knocking noise,on the fron suspension,it is very noticable, since this time they agreed and Bentley motors made [they claim]an additional replacement part they call a front end air spring damper,to replace the existing, the said they were 100% sure this would cure the knocking, noise, weeks later back again and getting worse,i have been told it is a characteristic of the car[albeit Bentley motors admit they did not tell their dealers on production of the new vehicles] or turn the radio up!its getting worse ,i wouder how many other car owners have this problem?

Hello Berkan. Thank you for your comment. I'm not overly mechanically-minded, but there is a definite problem there somewhere. This car is designed to be
put all the way through the rev range into the red line. I would phone Bentley themselves and ask them to send an engineer out, or visit one of their dealerships.
The only other option I can think of is that maybe there is a rev limiter when the engine is not fully warmed up, as there is on the Jaguar XKR.
Hope this helps!

Dear Chris ,
I would like to ask some questions about this car. I drove one GT Speed yesterday my friends car , that is a really great car and one of the best i have ever driven but I dont know whether its a problem or not but the car does not exceed 4000 rpm on 1st 2nd and 3rd gears. We drove in Sport mode all the way and full throttle but didn't exceed 4000 in sport mode also. Do you suggest anything or is it just about the gearbox ? Thanks....

Thanks Chris, your site is as you Brits say,"spot on"I'm glad you like my photos Sir.It is funny that you have the Bentley posted on your site because today I got a couple of pictures of one as I was at work!!!See I drive a truck to make ends meet and eat; and the GT was stopped at a single traffic light in front of me and I had to fumble for my camera to get some snaps off before it rolled on down the road.I well be posting them on my FLICKR photo stream tomorrow.

Chris Iam adding your site to my Favorites list, once more thanks and peace to you and yours Sir.
